jd7a. Did the rowing machine for 10 minutes, and some legs and arms weights. Had to stop early because I hadn't eaten lunch and was getting woozy, Will know for next time.

Exercise Journal
May. 14th, 2002 10:54 pmWalked with
jd7a 2.3 miles in 1 hour and 4 minutes.
Not our best effort, although we did supplement with some hopscotch in an elementary school playground and a little bit of tether ball. Let me tell you, tether ball in the dark is a much different experience than tether ball in the daylight. It can really get competitive. And dangerous. The ball, while never particularly colorful in the daytime, is pretty much invisible at night. So, getting whacked in the arm, the body, or the head is not really all that unusual. I think the game ended in a draw. Although I was always unclear on scoring in tether ball. I think it exists. I'm just not sure how it goes. So, one or the other of us could have won. Or both. I don't know.
I do know that I kicked ass in hopscotch. Bring on the eight year old girls. I'm ready for them!

jd7a in 1 hour, 23 minutes.
Found a small neighborhood park nearby that had a good walking trail through it. I think that's why we were able to walk faster tonight.
Reminder: Before our next walk, we should stretch first.
