Unemployment Day 2

Things to do today:

Wake up late (check)
Search Monster.com for Austin jobs
Send resumes to good leads
Empty the dishwasher
Clean the bathrooms
Clean my car
Continue to beg my network for leads
Play Neverwinter Nights

End of Unemployment Day 2

Things done today:

- Searched Monster.com. Found three that I sent resumes to. Here's hoping.
- Emptied the dishwasher.
- Cleaned the bathrooms.
- Started doing more laundry.
- Emailed some network contacts. Got one really good lead. Sent my resume on to the recruiter for his company. Seems they need some Professional Services. Ooooh.
- Got emails back from some of my other friends. Not hiring at this time. :(
- Played Neverwinter Nights.

Other than that, it was kind of a boring day, spent mostly in front of the computer. Sending out emails, composing cover letters, hoping to hear back from resumes I've sent out. My dad called to see how the job search was going while I was playing Neverwinter Nights Multiplayer. I don't think I was a very good conversationalist.

Now to start making dinner for J. to have when she gets home. Ah, the simple joys of being a house hubby. Tomorrow, I plan on vacuuming!
