long strange weekend

• Friday, 1pm Austin time - Leave work for the day, pick up J at home, head for the airport.


• Friday, 3pm Austin time - Plane takes off.


• Friday, 7:30pm New Jersey time - Lands at Newark.


• Friday, 9:00pm NJ time - Arrive at my parents home. Have leftover chinese food, visit with parents and sister.


• Friday, midnight NJ time - Go to sleep.


• Saturday, 9am NJ time - Wake up. Wish my parents a good trip before they head off on Alaskan cruise.


• Saturday, 11am NJ time - Drive 1.5 hours north. To J's grandmother's house we go.


• Saturday, 2pm NJ time - J's grandmother's birthday starts. Visit with her mom's side of the family.


• Saturday, 6pm NJ time - Leave party. Decide to go to Atlantic City and play poker.


• Saturday, 9pm NJ time - Arrive in AC in pouring rain. Park in the Taj Garaj at the Trump Taj Mahal casino.


• Saturday, 10pm NJ time - Finish eating Sabarro's pizza, start playing poker. Lose.


• Saturday, midnight NJ time - Leave poker, walk on boardwalk. Touch Atlantic ocean for the first time in years.


• Sunday, 1am NJ time - Leave AC.


• Sunday, 3am NJ time - Arrive at my parent's house. Try to get some rest.


• Sunday, 6:30am NJ time - Head towards airport.


• Sunday, 9am NJ time - Plane leaves.


• Sunday, noon Austin time - Arrive in Austin.


• Sunday, 2pm NJ time - Fall asleep at home.
