donutjayI know, I know, it's been a long time without an update. What can I say, I'm bad at this.
Update:
Married Life: Good, but not significantly different from unmarried life. Downside to living together beforehand? Maybe. But, we've clocked nearly a month without a serious argument, she's slowly changing her name, and our 1 month anniversary is this Monday. The wedding pictures from the photographer came in today. I'm still in a glow from how wonderful that weekend was.
Work Life: Still unemployed, but working. I'm on a pretty hefty contract right now that's sucking up a lot of my time, nearly 13 hours yesterday. It promises to give me lots and lots of hours to bill. It's not really in my area of expertise, documenting site flow and requirements gathering, but there's nothing wrong with that. Yay work!
Cat Life: Still cute, still has claws, and still think the dinner table is a good place to lie.
Fun Life: Not too much recently. Been watching the World Series. I love watching baseball. I know it's boring, but its boring in the way an opera is boring. A lot of waiting around, but then you get to the good stuff. And then it's waiting again. The past few games have had a lot of great plays. There's nothing that beats a great infield dive and throw to first, or a home run out of the park, or a player sliding into home barely missing being tagged.
Softball's been rained out the last couple of weeks. Bowling's been okay. My teammates were wondering why I didn't mention I was going off to be married. I don't know, I didn't feel like making a big deal out of it with people I hardly know. I had a 193 game last week. That makes up for my 108 game the same night.
