I've always believed that you should walk a mile in somebody else's shoes before you judge them. So, this morning, I decided to drive to work without using my turn signals. I wanted to know what it was like, if I felt stronger, more powerful, delighting in my disregard of the feelings of others, spurning the very law that had given me the right to drive in the first place. **Evil laugh**

I didn't. I just kind of felt stupid and careless. I couldn't even follow through with it the entire drive to work. When I entered the exit lane, there was someone directly behind me, so I used my turn signal. And when I made a sharp right into my office complex, I used my turn signal so someone wouldn't rear-end me.

I don't think I'll try this experiment again. And now that I've tried it, I can feel better about calling all those people who don't use their turn signal stupid twits.

this morning on my way to work, some doofus in front of me in the next lane kept swerving her tires in and out of my lane just enough for me to be wary. So we came around the bend toward the light, and it was then that she decided to speed up and pull in front of me...without a turn signal. I gave her the finger. it made me feel better.

when we went through the light, we were in the right lane. after crossing the highway, she changed her mind and decided the left lane was the place to be...again without using her signal.
*sigh*

I hate to say it, but I find women to be pretty dumb drivers. Men can be dumb drivers too, but they have an added advantage of being aggressive as well as dumb. They're more likely to cut you off than women, but women have the edge in utterly stupid driving moves.

Men also buy these big honkin' trucks (down here, anyway), so they're more intimidating. It's really annoying when one of them is honking for me to go, but I can't see through the F-350 that's next to me waiting to turn left.

umm...rant ove
